This movie had so much potential but failed to deliver

This is a hard one but it seems like actors like Hanks are in a league of their own. But Actors like Denzel Washington are Unstoppable. Some will get my corny jokes. I would say Tom Hanks in the 90s all the way up to Captain Phillips. But Denzel Washington from that point forward had the better movies. With some exceptions. I would put John Q up against Any Tom Hanks movie. The way he loved his family was so touching. He was willing to die for his son. I hAted how he had to go to prison. And the cops that had no hearts. I don't know the year of it came out. But another reason I went with Tom Hanks in the 90s was I didn't really know a lot of Denzel movies in the 90s. I knew One that I never got. I knew this one with Tom Hanks and one he did with Julia Roberts that I need to see Again. Because I was younger and didn't understand it. So that was two I didn't understand. Of course I didn't understand the big words in Apollo 13 either but at least I understood enough and it was great. Then there was the movie with Denzel Washington and the girl. Dakota Fanning. Man of Fire or something like that. But those 5 were all I knew. And I couldn't get into Philadelphia. So I didn't know what it was about until I watched it a couple years later. Then it made sense. And the first time I watched it was not by myself. I have trouble if I don't watch something for myself.

Saw this movie in theaters 1998. First week it came out, no one knew about it, it was low in money maker. Second week 1st Place Blockbuster!!!! Top Tier Movie Reviews! The whole theater was standing and cheering when Blade came in with the motorcycle revenge fight! Went and saw it 3 more times different places same reaction!
